The Púca's Bonfire

A seasonal cup for the autumn and winter. The first sip intrigues; the second one settles you — smoky, spiced, and a little sweet.

A honeybush base with apple, lapsang souchong, aniseed, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, rosehip, clove, orange, red peppercorn, safflower, and natural cinnamon, hazelnut, and orange flavours. Two teaspoons, water at a full boil, five to seven minutes; good hot or iced, and unexpectedly good standing in for bourbon in a mocktail.

Only a trace of caffeine, from the small amount of lapsang souchong. 3 oz (85 g) loose-leaf.

Sold by weight, not volume. Light, fluffy blends fill the pouch higher than dense black teas, but every pouch holds the same 3 oz.
